Happy New Year everyone!!

Wow, was 2005 a great year or what? OK, for us, it was the best year ever! 2005 brought us Emily in March, and it just got better from there. She is almost 10 months old now and is getting so big. She says Dada, Mama, Mom, backpack (thanks to Dora the Explorer) and bupbups for the dogs and cats. She is crawling all over like a crazy baby and is into everything. She pulls herself up on everything so fast and I just know she will be walking in no time. She loves mommy'a laptop and she loves to dance. She dances so cute, and all on her own. She just started to shake it one day, and has been ever since.

Christmas with Emily was amazing! It was everything I have ever dreamed of and more. To see it through her eyes, and her excitement and happiness, well, I cannot even begin to explain it, but when I do, I just start crying tears of joy. She has blessed us more than I could ever say. She got so many presents it was almost embarrassing. She is loved by so many, we are so lucky!

Life in Minnesota has been very good so far. It is so nice to be back with our family. They love Emily so much, and we want better for her than what was going on in California. Not that CA isn't a good place too, but, having been born and raised here in MN, we have wonderful memories and want only the best for Emily too.

The weather here has been great. We have some snow, not enough for us though. It has been cold, but really nice. It has been about 30-34 degrees lately, with no wind, so it has been very nice. Emily isn't too sure about snow yet, so we keep her out of it mostly. I've taken her sledding twice, the first time was ok, the second, a tad more tramatic. We're going to keep playing in it though, she'll come around. :)

Well, that's about it for now. Oh, Bruce and I are doing well too. Bruce enjoys his job and I enjoy being a stay-at-home-mom with Emily. I couldn't dream of a better job!
