Check out our new home page at www.bruceanddawn.com

We just started it tonight; we'll add more real soon.

Goodbye to one of our own...

Unfortunately, Peachy is no longer with us. We had to put him to sleep last weekend. It was very hard, and sad, but it was the right thing to do, for him.

Bruce found him downstairs and he didn't look or feel right. We rushed him to the emergency pet hospital. He had many blood tests, was on an IV of fluids and antibiotics , needed a blood transfusion (only to buy time for further diagnosis), was very anemic and had a lot of muscle loss. Xrays and ultrasounds both showed that he had a mass in his stomach and his liver. It was just too much for his 15 year old body, so we had to let him go. It was the only humane thing to do.

He was a good cat and we miss him very much. He is now frolicking in heaven with his brother, Charlie.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Today we went to The Mall of America for something to do. Bruce and Emily went on the Merry-go-round and the truck ride. I went on the train ride with Emily. We also went to the big aquarium and saw sharks, fish, turtles and other water creatures. It was really cool! We also ran into some friends of ours; Betsy and Todd and their girls. It was so awesome to see them!!!

We had our ultrasound last Friday (a week ago) and saw one baby with a good heart beat. Hopefully this Holiday season we will add another member to our family.

OK, now that the nearly week and a half of morning sickness seems to be lessening I can update you all. I've had morning, afternoon and evening sickness constantly, and it sucks!!! :) It seems to be easing now, so that is good.

Friday is our first ultrasound, I can't wait. We'll keep you posted.

Emily and I have a cold right now; runny nose, sore throat, poor babies!

I hope you all are well.

Love,
Dawn
