Nakkid girl!...

Emily just came into the kitchen with her PJ's (footie jammies) unzipped, off her arms and down around her ankles. I was so surprised so I just watched her as she slowly pulled her feet out too. This is the first time she has taken her clothes off. She tries to put clothes ON all the time, not very well, but she has NEVER taken anything off before. It looks like the beginning of Naked Girl, LOL, because now she is telling me she wants her clothes off that I just put on her. We'll have to see how long she stayes dressed...

Awwww, to be able to run around naked again...

I had my 36 week appointment today. Everything looks good with Aiden, but I have swelling in my legs and feet. I am supposed to lay down as much as possible now, YA RIGHT! I can try, but with Emily it is almost impossible. Plus, the house is a mess and laundry needs to be done. I guess I can lay down between loads. Luckily, Emily and I take a nap together every day so that helps.

Emily is upstairs alone right now, and is aweful quiet, I better go check on her and see what she is destroying now. She likes to get into Aiden's room and pull everything out of the baskets in his changing table. Blankets, bibs and burp rags everywhere...

You know what is really good? Uh-Oh Oreo's (vanilla cookies with chocolate cream filling) dipped in French Vanilla Cool-whip. Oh my goodness, someone stop me, LOL!!!

We wanted to get out of the house yesterday so we went to the Mall of America. It is close and we enjoy it. It is so big that it is never crowded. That's what we like best about it. Bruce took Emily on the Merry-go-round, and the semi-truck ride. Then the three of us went on the train ride. Oh man, it was tough to squeeze into that little car being 36 weeks pregnant, but I did it! Emily always has so much fun there. We didn't even bring her stroller, she just loves to run around and get all her energy out.

We had lunch at Famous Dave's. I had the Georgia chopped pork sandwich and it was soooo good!! I'm not usually that fond of FD's, but it was good at the mall. They put us in a booth and Bruce had to move the table over so that I could squeeze in. Even then I was back-to-tummy in the booth. Boy, I'm squeezing into a lot of things lately, LOL.

We had a good time at my mom's house for Thanksgiving. It is always nice to be home for the holidays!

We're a Minivan family now!

Yep, we traded in the Chrysler LHS for an '07 Honda Odyssey, and it is awesome! It will be so much easier and nicer with (soon to be) 2 kids. It is grey with a grey (they say olive but it depends on the light, it looks grey) leather interior. We've been looking around at different minivans for a few months now and decided on this one.

The kindness of strangers...

Today was a total "D'OH" day!

I dropped Emily off with my MIL and I was going to go get a card and balloons for Bruce (today he is 35!), well, I never made it. I got to the gas station and locked the keys in the car. No cell phone, no jacket, no nothing (it's 30 degrees today). Luckily, a man tried to help me. He went home and got a slim-jim thing and a wire hanger, but no luck. Then, the young girl who worked there, on her break, gave me a ride to my MIL's house. How sweet was that?

Otherwise I would have had to walk 5 blocks, without a coat. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers!

40 more days...
'Til Christmas and until Aiden Kyle is due.

Wow! 40 more days...it has gone way too fast!

Ooooooooooh, we woke up to snow this morning; everything is so pretty!
It won't last long, though, I'm afraid, but it sure looks pretty while it does last. I tried to take a picture but the batteries in my camera are dead. Dang! OH well...

34 weeks today! That means only 6 more weeks until Christmas!!! And, Bruce's birthday is Thursday. We're going to Dave and Busters. They just built one near us, so that will be fun. Then he is off the entire following week for Thanksgiving. Mmmmm, I can't wait to eat, LOL!!!

OK, one more news-worthy event...

Emily made poops in her new potty chair!!! YAY!!! It was so cool, I was so excited I almost cried, LOL (pregnancy hormones!). She told me "poop, momma" so I thought I was just going to humor her so I took her shorts, onesie and diaper off and down she sat. To my surprised she said "I pooped, Mom" and got up and sure enough...POOP! YAY!!!

I don't know if it was just a fluke or what, but I am not going to push her. I know she will do it when she is ready, so I will be patient. But, it was pretty cool!

I'm 33 weeks today. Boy, it sure seems to be going fast!!!

Here are some pictures of us with Emily getting ready for Trick-or-treating and some belly shots.

Yesterday we did some more in his room. Bruce hung the 5 plaques that I ordered online and I went through some of his things to see what else we need to buy. Not much more, just some sleepers and onesies, and that's about it. I have some wallpaper appliques to put on the wall, so I think I will practice laying that out soon too. Other than that, I THINK we're ready...

Yeah! Wednesday's class wasn't just a fluke! She was so good in class today too, and participated so well. I could just feel myself beaming with pride, LOL!!! Yeah, that's my girl!!!

Oh, I hope Bruce rememers that I asked him to run to Costco on his lunch today to get me a pumpkin pie, I am craving it soooo bad. I asked him to last night, I'll be happily surprised if he remembers. ;) I guess I'll see...

OK, I am a PROUD mom!!! As some of you know, Emily has not participated well in class, well, today that changed. She participated in everything, and was so good!! I can tell that me working with her has really paid off. I think all of the teachers were in shock too. It was awesome!

And, I got to tattle (LOL) on the 2 moms that made me so mad last week, in a round about, nonchalant way. They were appalled that someone would tell me my child needs to be on a leash. I didn't name names, but my point was made. Yay me!!!
