Little Stinker in the moss and Herschel on the rock wall...















Little Stinker got a new terrarium and a new friend.

Emily and I were down by the pond looking for crickets when (what I thought was)a green grasshopper jumped on my foot. I was about to kick it off when we saw it was a little tree frog. Emily picked it up and put it in her bug catcher, and asked if we could keep it. Since we just bought Little Stinker this cool, new, HUGE terrarium we figured why not. She named the new frog Herschel. Where she got that I have no idea!

So, Herschel is about half the size of Little Stinker and chirps, so we have a small male (Herschel) and a big female (Little Stinker).

Here is Little stinker's journey, from tadpole to the frog he is today...

Dear God,

Please, oh please, do NOT lead Brett Favre to the Minnesota Vikings!

We, as true Vikings fans, have hated that little cry baby, wussy of a QB for years and the thought of him invading our beloved Vikings, well, let's just say it will not fly well with us.

Please send him far, far away, like Florida or better yet, help him to retire, for good this time, so we don't ever have to hear about him ever again.

Please God, we've suffered enough. That missed field goal kick in '98...ya, we're still hurting over that one, so please, please, please, do not smight us again with the likes of Favre.

Amen.

19 years ago yesterday (Aug 5th) my friends and I had a "graduation and going off to college" party at her brother's house, who was out of town. It was that night that Bruce and I *met* ;) and started dating. Those 2 friends were also bridesmaids in our wedding (17 years ago).

Thank you Jerri and Melissa for the party, getting me drunk (LOL) and for being in our wedding. It doesn't seem that long ago, does it? God, we're old!!!! :)
