Wow, it's been a while since I've blogged! But, in my defense, it's been a short, busy summer. We only went camping 4 times. I guess with Spring hanging on as long as it did, and Fall here already, it was a very short summer. (It was 40 degrees when we got up at 8:00 this morning!)
Let's see, what is new with us? We just went to Wisconsin Dells for our family vacation and had a blast! (pictures on our website). We have such a good time there with the kids that we are going to make it a yearly ritual. It will only get better as they get older too.
Aiden is 21 months now and Emily is 3 1/2! I can't believe how fast they are growing up! I am still home with them and wouldn't have it any other way. It has it's crazy days, but they are worth it. We have MOMS Club now to keep us busy, so that is good. I am also on the board now as Membership VP, so that is fun. It is nice to get together with other moms and kids...and finally meeting people and making friends.
School starts again in two weeks. The kids go to ECFE (Early Chilren and Family Education, or something like that) twice a week. Emily is in what is called "Almost ready for preschool". She goes 3 hours one day alone, and another day for 3 hours with me. Aiden goes to play and learn on the same day that Emily is in her class, so that works out well. They both love it!, and we've met some great moms and kids there.
Bruce is still crazy-busy at work. You know how it is...when you work hard, bust your butt, know your stuff -- you get the most work to do! But, that is how he is...he's never done anything half-assed, so he gets dumped on A LOT!
Let's see, what is new with me? Nothing really. I've gained some of my weight back and am now working on losing it again. Nothing major, just need to get it off again. Too much fair, camping and summer food! :) I am also busy with MOMS Club, like I said, and I love it. The two frogs also keep me busy. OK, well, not busy, but they are fun to watch and take care of. I never thought I would be a frog-dork, but I am now. It is a lot of fun!
